Sons of Boru GFC is based in San Francisco, California formed in 1984 by American born players.  Over the years the Sons of Boru have claimed several Western Division and North American Board titles. This website will give updates of club news,  match results and various club photos.

2009 ended up being another successful year for the Boru. After a slow start to the season with narrow losses to Ulster and the Sean Treacy's the Boru bounced back and became a force to be reckoned with.  The Boru knocked of the Treacy's to claim the 2009 San Francisco Championship.  The Boru then travelled to Boston and disposed of Armagh/ND (Boston) and Young Irelanders (Philadelphia) to capture the North American Intermediate Title. Our Junior B team was also succesful in claiming the  2009 Junior B championship at the expense of Eire Og.
